Personal Aquatic Training by Paul Newling

Swimming training for adults seems to fall into one of two categories: those who can swim, and those who have yet to learn.

Too many adults who can’t yet swim fear the water, and this just isn’t necessary. There's nothing to worry about, and especially if you’ve got children, let me introduce you to the pool so you can share this healthy activity with your whole family.

In our private lessons, I can help you to quickly become comfortable with the water, understand safety issues, and teach you the appropriate skills for basic swimming and confidence.

For adults who are already confident in the water, stroke technique and swim coaching sessions are available, which can really help you to improve your fitness and performance in the water. If you’re trying to lose fat and improve the way your muscles and body looks, swimming can’t be beaten! It’s a whole-body workout that’s great for your cardio-vascular fitness, too. The level of intensity is always tailored to your specific goals and fitness level, and you'll enjoy a variety of training techniques so you don't need to worry about having to endlessly swim laps - unless you want to, of course!

Others may benefit from Aqua Aerobics and Aqua Therapy – great workouts which are both fun and easy on the joints – especially appropriate for people who may have been reluctant to work out on land because of previous injuries.
